Locust Bean (Ceratonia Siliqua)

Locust Bean (Ceratonia Siliqua) - Rightly prized for its thickening properties, the locust bean is made by milling the seeds of the carob tree. It has moisturizing, regenerating and smoothing properties. The locust bean is native to the Mediterranean, and the fruit pulp and seed extracts make a nutritious addition to soups and condiments across west Africa. Licorice extract helps fade brown marks, freckles and skin discoloration (hyperpigmentation) while evening out skin tone.
