Henna (Lawsonia Inermis)

Henna (Lawsonia Inermis) – Used since antiquity as a dye for skin, fingernails, hair and fabrics, henna also strengthens hair roots and can be helpful in treating dandruff, conditioning hair and stimulating blood circulation. Henna can be used to cool the skin, defend against infection and naturally reduce pain-causing inflammation. Used for many centuries in India, Africa and the Middle East, henna has been used for more than 6,000 years to dye the skin, nails and hair of men and women, including Cleopatra and Nefertiti.
